My understanding was that she was a client (3rd in the brief) who was pulled into Slack like Gerald and slowly lost her own identity. She helped ID the culprit who poisoned the dogs. But that doesn't explain why only Rob could see and interact with her, so idk for sure. Disappointed it wasn't fully explained!
