Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Bobby Underwood Because I am working on Where Flamingos Fly as I answer this, I would have to say classic films are my inspiration. I dedicated the first in this series to Alan Ladd and Veronica Lake. I am a big film buff and amateur historian, so have a love and passion for films of the 1930's and 1940's, especially crime and adventure films. I hope that feeling comes across in the Nostalgia Crime series and fans of classic black and white films have as much fun reading these as I do writing them.
