Goodreads asked Sandeep Patel:

How do you get inspired to write?

Sandeep Patel A few reasons, i) I wanted to get things off my chest, i.e. I needed a place to vent and find answers. Hence my first non-fiction book, Sand Deep. I did find my answers and came to peace. ii) I didn't want my vast knowledge and formed wisdom to go into thin air and disappear. Mostly this was for myself as I loved to learn and wanted to keep what I learnt on hand. Hence A Potion and Colours of Enlightenment. iii) I wanted to know if I could write a beautiful story with love and survival. Hence A Potion. iv) I wanted to give respect to common filled religion for others to respect each other from the knowledge I shared. Hence all my books. v) I wanted to find the One God of Hinduism, and why He was the One God. Hence Bhagavan's Guitar. Also as I was raised saying His name, I wanted to know why I was and therefore with all I had learnt to teach the modern world the ways of Krishna Consciousness to suit the coming generations.
