Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Alan Nettleton My daughter asked me one bedtime whether children had ever been into space. When I said no, the follow up was, well, when will they go? That got me thinking how interesting it would be for kids to go to space without adults. This led to the idea that, at some point, children will probably be born in space, so it would be useful to understand how they cope. Hence, the justification for child space travel!
