I read The Fires of Paratime as a boy and enjoyed the action story immensely but as an adult and a Libertarian I now see a lot more to love. Am I reading too much into your portrayal of the stagnation on Query or is there an Objectivist/Libertarian ideology?

Obviously, to a greater or lesser degree, depending on the book, what I write reflects my thoughts and speculations, and I tend to be a mix of Agnostic Anglican, political pragmatist, and cynical idealist. Query reflects what I think would develop given the talents of the timedivers.

I am always fascinated by your detailed descriptions of the meals your characters eat. Do you cook yourself? I know it might be silly, but could there some day be a Recluse Cookbook? Maybe the recipe for Lace Potatoes to start! Thank you for many hours of enjoyable reading. I have read all of the Recluse, Corean, Spellsong and Imager series. I have enjoyed them all.
