Anyone want to discuss the very ending of this book? Like, why did the neighbor hit the fake Paloma? I thought he knew her? Any insight you can give would be helpful!

So, it was probably easy to mistake her. Sam, on the other hand, knew better and was able to see that the woman that came to meet him was not the person he knew as Paloma.(less)
