Sometimes watching a good movie or TV show will do it. Other times I pick up one of the Harry Potter books and re-read it. I am currently preparing to write "Ethan Fox and the Shadow Princess." So I recently re-read the first two Harry Potter books just to see how the story transitioned from book 1 to book 2 and pick up some inspiration.
