M.A. Koontz There was a "peeping Tom" in our neighborhood when I was growing up. He was caught peering into a neighbor girl's bedroom window one night, and either the girl or her dad recognized him as a local store employee. Shortly thereafter, he disappeared. I can recall whispers among the parents that were hushed as children approached. I always wondered about his mysterious disappearance.
