What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Tricia Copeland My father was adopted and doesn't know who his parents are... great family drama plot lines there. I do have one character, Alena from Kingdom of Embers, who doesn't know who her father is. Her mother tells her that it is for her own safety that his identity be kept secret.

Dear Ms Copeland, Just a note: "The Sweetest Note" is an excellent book, but just pointing out a minor flaw. Your treble clef marker has got to be turned around because it's a mirror image of one. Will you be doing more along the lines of small town romances?
