One time, while my family and I were living in the countryside, we had a few acres of land; the house sat atop a small hill and down below was a creek and tall grass that covered the ground. One day, we woke up and found huge round impressions in the tall grass, like something huge lay down in it to make a bed. The mystery? Well, our property was entirely fenced off and the only 'livestock' we owned were chickens. And they preferred to make their nest in the garage! So, we never really knew what made those deep impressions. Dogs? Deer? Or maybe our chickens went sleep walking and made a giant nest for themselves (unfortunately, they didn't think to lay eggs in their sleep!)
