My mystery would be called, The Case of the Stolen Purse! Many years ago, when my daughter was little and just learning how to ride a bike, my husband and I took her to a walking trail for some more riding practice. We had planned to go do a little shopping afterwards, so I brought along my purse. When we got to the park, I decided that I didn't want to carry my heavy purse with me while walking and trying to run after a bike. While in the vehicle I took out my phone, kept a hold of my keys, and placed my purse in the backseat under a blanket. After getting the bike we locked up the vehicle. It was a very quiet day at the park, with only one other vehicle in the parking lot. After a fun bike ride/walk we went back to the vehicle to find that the back window had been broken, my purse missing, and a random business card in the back seat. To this day I have no clue who stole my purse or where it is today. Is someone still using it? Did it get thrown in a landfill? How did the business card get dropped in my vehicle? That one day could turn into a great mystery book!
