My own life is not fodder for my fiction, as far as anyone knows LOL. While I do toss in tidbits from my work experiences with the Army, Medical, and Culinary fields, I don't delve into where I get the myths, legends, norse gods, rune magic and "fringe" history that goes into my books. Part of that is just professional caution. Too much info about myself detracts from the fiction. Plus we wouldn't want to offend anyone of a different belief. I have Christians, Muslims and Pagans all over my books. Can't afford to alienate any potential readers with my own views though.
