What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Daisy Knox Not sure this is interesting enough for a plot but it's been driving me crazy for years so here goes. When I was 9, I found a solid glass sphere with a gnome in the middle while walking through a construction site that was being excavated. They were building new houses where a glass factory was many years before and it was such a cool find. It always felt very mysterious and exciting to have because why did hey even make these? I treasured it for years but a couple of years ago, I opened a box of keepsakes and it was missing. I've looked everywhere but have never found it. Even weirder, nobody else remembers ever seeing it. My family, friends and husband all act like they have no clue what I'm talking about even though I displayed it in my childhood bedroom and first apartment and had it for more than 20 years.
