I was actually inspired by my blog that I started writing in 2017. I was overwhelmed with what was happening in the country and around me after Trump was elected, so blogging became my outlet. Recently, during the pandemic, I realized that within my blog I had the makings of my book. So I expanded on the essays, edited them, and voila!
