Goodreads asked Robert R. Peecher Jr.:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Robert R. Peecher Jr. I go for periods of time where I don't feel like writing for whatever reason, but I don't know that I've ever really suffered writer's block. I make my living as a journalist where deadlines don't wait for for me to be "in the mood" or "feeling it."

I view writing novels much the same way I view writing newspaper articles: It's work. I sit down at the computer and go to work.

I suppose having the story outlined - on paper or in my head - is what allows me to do this. If I didn't already have an idea where my story was going, I could see suffering from writer's block.
