Can anyone please tell me how old Lynette is supposed to be? I was listening to the audio version and the narrator sounded like she was in her 60's or older, so I kept picturing Lynette being that age as well... I disliked the narrators voice so much that it ruined the book for me and I couldn't finish it... I also disliked Fine, come on your only friend is a plant?
Emily Wrayburn Lynette is 38. All the other final girls are within 10-15 years of that age, I think (a couple of them are possibly in their 50s?).

I was a bit baffled by Fine at first but I think it makes sense for someone as agoraphobic as Lynette and with all her other mental issues to latch onto something non-human like that (she definitely wasn't equipped for a pet and had no other connections outside of the Group). (less)
