I am listening to the The First Girl Child at the moment and really enjoying it. This is the first book of yours I have read and would not normally read "romantic fantasy". Had I known it was, I would have probably passed it by, but I am glad I did not. Do you have any other books that are fantasy/sci-fi, but with less romance that you would recommend, if that makes sense?

Amy Harmon Hi Steve, not with less romance. :-) I tend to sneak the love stories into all my books. I hope you finished it and loved it.
