So sorry for the long delay! I apologize. I don't have a family connection but I am so glad you liked the book. My only tiny connection to the story is that I was born and raised in SoCal and experienced little earthquakes all the time. None like that one, though...

Hi Susan! I'm currently reading your book, The Girl in the Glass, and might I just say it's amazing. I love the characters and how you describe Florence. Which brings me to my question, I am assuming you spent time in Florence for research purposes? If so, how long did you spend there, and what was your favorite place or thing you saw? It's definitely on my bucketlist to go there, especially since reading your story!
