What do you love most about your characters in the Mara Dyer trilogy, particularly Mara and Noah?

I love this question.
I love Noah's shamelessness. That he isn't embarrassed by anything--not his history, not his obsession with Mara, not the reasons behind it. He knows how flawed he is and doesn't really care--he never wanted to be perfect, so he doesn't bother pretending to be.
And I love Mara's ferocious loyalty. She will do anything--maim, murder, whatever--to protect the people she loves. She'll defend first and apologize later (or not at all).
