VERY UNPOPULAR OPINION: Am I the only one who fell in love with Ryle and not Atlas? Looking back there's a million reasons why I SHOULDV'E hated Ryle from the start, but to me their connection was so much stronger than her and Atlas'. That's what I found so powerful about the book, bc for the first time I understood the mindset of someone in an abusive relationship because I was rooting so hard for them.

I loved this book, but I was rooting for her relationship with Ryle and was kind of expecting them to go through therapy together or him get more help to try and work through it since they had such a strong connection, but I guess it was a chance she didn’t want to take with her moms history of abuse. I agree, I didn’t think her connection with Atlas was as strong! (less)
