My inspiration came from a 1954 Hollywood film, "Three Coins in the Fountain". If you haven't seen the film, I defy you to watch it and not walk away humming Frank Sinatra's memorable opening song for the next week (or two). The film follows three American expatriate women who move to Rome to seek happiness in the Eternal City. I thought it would be fun to revisit this story with three contemporary women, who coincidentally meet at a 1950s movie night while watching this film.
