I spent time reading some of the questions and answers, and in one of them, you said that Mam isn’t in the dark. Also, by being with Toms dad, she joined the light despite all the murders she had done. So if Mam was able to do it, what stops Alice from doing the same? Shouldn’t it possible, even if the spot on her thigh is already full, that she can rejoin the light, and that maybe the spot on her thigh can wane?

I think you are correct. I am writing one of the Wulf books now and that is a question that I might well answer there – once I have worked it out for myself!
