Wanted to tell you how VERY much I enjoyed both of your books. Your “extemporaneous witticisms” are the best. Am not easily amused but found you to be laugh out loud funny. Also, am mad about Anthony. If I were 20 years younger and he were real….. cannot wait to read you new offering and hopefully many more to come. No pressure. When?

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this question because it gives me a chance to walk back previous rash promises to complete the third book for mid-August — The Tale of the Tenpenny Tontine is all sewn up and in the tumble-dryer, shortly to be carefully ironed by people who know how to spell. The new, serious, mature and dependable publication date is the end of the month/beginning of October.
I really, really cherish the kind words, Marie — they’re like jet fuel.

Hello again!!! I’ve just finished listening to The Reckoning at the Riviera Royale. It’s yet another excellent entry into what is now an all time favorite series for me. Tim Bruce as Anty is the best thing since Jonathan Cecil narrating Bertie Wooster. I have the next book on deck and ready to go, but I’m wondering if the most recent ones will be available on audio anytime soon? They’re so great to listen to!

Hi. I greatly enjoyed the audiobook of “The Case of the Canterfell Codicil”, particularly as Tim Bruce brought the book to life - what a great choice for narrator! However, I was in a state of confusion for the first couple of chapters as to its historical setting. After checking the ebook, I found this was because the book gives the date for the postmark as 1928 whereas the audiobook gives it as 1828?
