Goodreads asked Crystal Joy:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Crystal Joy I don't ever have writer's block. Why? Because I write at the same time every day. Writing is similar to exercise. If you do it consistently around the same time each day, your muscles get used to it and you can get better. When you write this way, your brain gets used to it. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so consistency helps my brain to switch from "mom mode" to "writer mode" much faster.

I also plot my novels before I write them. This helps me know what I'm working on ahead of time and I can be thinking about each scene before I sit down to write.
