You have to become powerful enough to rule the dark and part of this is forming alliances with other gods and daemons that might help you. For someone like Grimalkin to do that (not being a god herself) would be extremely difficult but not impossible!

Hi Joseph, Have you had any experiences in your writing when you frightened yourself and it kept you up at night? I had trouble sleeping after reading about Tibb. That's one creepy little dude. I ask what I ask in my previous text as even though I know what ever you write will be amazing I’ve grown to love having Tom and Alice as the main characters and I was slightly disappointed that there will be a new main character.
