No, but it does get confusing with all the divorces & remarriages and history going back 3 generations, and jumping around time periods from past to present. Kept having to stop & think whose story was being told.

Nice in the summer. Magical is a stretch. Writers must love it here, as it's often the setting for beach reads. Might be because there is so much history here and that can be woven into the story.
