I'm about halfway through this book and accidentally also checked out book 4 in the series. Do I have to read them in order? They don't have the other two on audio through my library.

As long as you don't mind knowing how the other books turned out, since they have the same greater cast of characters. For example, if you pick up book 3 you'll know what happens to the two MC's of book 2. There might also be some in-jokes you don't catch. (less)
