Normally, how long to it take you to get the book written when you think of the story?

Hi Maritza! Ideas for stories sort of percolate around in my head for a while. Often I'll think of a good spinoff story from the book I'm currently writing. Once I start seriously writing down words, a book takes anywhere from three to six months to finish.
