Shankyshack asked Stuart Gibbs:

During the spy school series, the main group of kids that are sent on missions are going through a *lot* of traumatic stuff (Like stopping multiple bombs, a lot of almost-dying, and just general high-stress-environments for example.) Are you planning on showing the effects of this/exploring it throughout the series?

Stuart Gibbs I have considered this but do not think I will explore it. I understand that isn't realistic, but neither are the situations my heroes find themselves in. I think that raising the specter of post traumatic stress disorder would take some of the fun out of the read.
