Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Pamela Q. Fernandes The most recent thing I'm writing is a short story for an anthology. Its speculative fiction and I've been watching saeguks of late. So Secret Investigation Record, Splish splash love and Six flying dragons was on my mind a lot. After watching the shows I actually researched the Joseon era, King Sejong's contribution to technology and Jang Young Sil's inventions. That's where I got the idea of doing a short story based in 1420 of the Joseon era. Both of them were men who were far ahead of their time, so a story that was part fantasy and part science fiction came very easily to me. I just hope it gets accepted. (sigh)
