It depends completely on the maturity of the reader. I think a mature 14 year old and up? The book is meant for older teens though as there is violence and a few explicit scenes.

I just read this and have NO IDEA why people think this books is YA. I read both genres. This is definitely not YA. Do not give this book to anyone younger than 18. MAYBE 17 if you're pushing it.
