Hi Mr. Gibbs! I love your books and how they always have a strong female character in them. I was wondering, how do you name your characters and develop them? Super excited for SSAS!

Stuart Gibbs There are many ways to come up with character names: Sometimes, I collect names and combine a first and last name that I like and save it for a character some day. Sometimes, I might give a character the first name of one friend and the last name of another. And sometimes, I just make up a name on the spot. As for developing characters, that takes a tremendous amount of brainstorming.
