I enjoyed this book. However, when Hugh went back to 1914 he had an I-pad or tablet with him. Somehow it worked in the past and he even had an "adapted" charger so that the battery didn't go flat. How could it work, when the internet hadn't been invented? Having said that, it didn't really spoil my enjoyment of the story, it was merely a nagging question in the back of my mind.
