Naven i don't know if your are aware but a remake of the game Dead Space was just announced. Wanted to ask if you are familiar with the game? and if so did you draw any inspiration from it for your book?

I know, and yes, I am familiar. Player the whole trilogy a few times over. Oddly enough, I did not intentionally take any inspiration from it. I might have subconsciously borrowed some things, though. Either that or they both hit the same strand of mostly generic eldritch body horror by coincidence.

Is there any chance you can get sound booth to tone down the incidental music and that horrible sound they put over the stat read? I had a lot of trouble in finishing Morgana because of these two things, I’ve blasted through the first 3 books and listened to them again and again. I just can’t finish book 4 because of that horrible “music”
