They really love each other, but sometimes, like a lot of parents and children, they find it hard to communicate that! He's not a very demonstrative parent, and he doesn't always understand her, but he's very proud of her.

Also, I love your books, and as someone part of the LGBT+ community, I think there is really good representation in this series. So thank you.
