I think I figured out the cinematic equivalents of all the final girls, except for Chrissy. Anyone know who her match is?
Molly Siskin My first thought was Troll 2, because it has a similar cult notoriety to Silent Night Deadly Night (which I believe to be the inspo for Slay Bells), m…moreMy first thought was Troll 2, because it has a similar cult notoriety to Silent Night Deadly Night (which I believe to be the inspo for Slay Bells), my other thought was possibly Prom Night, a film which has a sequel filmed in Alberta, which I haven't seen but I don't believe it has gnomes, howver I do believe the apparent Final Girl turns out to be both supernatural and evil? I was just googling to find this out. Also Prom Night is similar to Homecoming, so I think it could be that. What is holding me back is that there are no actors with names similar to Chrissy or Mercer in the series that I could find, which breaks Hendrix's pattern with all the other final girls' naming convention.(less)
