Anyone finished who wants to discuss the ending? I am still not sure how I feel about it, am ruminating.

She's just picked up the iridescent feather; he's on her mind. Yes, she takes off her ring—that threw me. But we don't know that she hasn't been doing that all along. I think the key line here is "heading down the path to take my swim." Not "leave my life." Take my swim. After all she and her sister went through in this story, I don't think she'd inflict that on her kids.(less)
