Hi there! I just finished Fragile Remedy and absolutely loved it. All my friends are super tired of hearing about it, or have already read it and adore it too. I have a question: what inspired this book? It seems like a fairly fresh and unusual concept.

I think about this question a lot. I started building this book from a vibe and an emotion and the idea of a family-like gang. The first draft actually had faeries in it! I went through a lot of significant changes to bring it into a more science-fantasy world.
I've always been inspired by stories of survival and found family bonding over shared trauma.
