Frankie's emotional life -- her anger, her ambition, her feelings about boys -- those all come from my own experience, but the rest of her is invented.

I never went to boarding school and I come from a very different kind of family. It took me months to research and invent the pranks Frankie figures out on the fly.

Now that We Were Liars is out, are there any plans to write another book in the near future - and, if so, have you considered writing another series (like Ruby Oliver) or joint novel (like How to Be Bad) or at the very least a tie-in short story (like The Bake Sale)?
