Why do think the author gave it the title that she did? I cannot conceive anyone believing that alzheimer's is "sweet" - instead it is a tragic disease. So I guess it may in some way refer to the recipe's that are included throughout the book and the fact that baking plays a part in resolving the mysteries of the past.

Catherine Corrado We all forget about our pasts- and as we get older we think about our ancestors who came here from a world we could never imagine When I think about my grandmothers and my own Dad - I smile as I imagine howvtheir lives were changed because of circumstances out of their control and how remembering them and the stories they told us is the sweet part of their lives - we should never forget our past!
