Could you see yourself ever writing a LGBTQ+ book!? Like a romance between two people of the same gender?

Great question! I'm a huge support of the LGBTQ+ community. I'm not sure right now is the right time for me, a straight white woman, to write books that so many LGBTQ+ authors are already doing and doing very well. For so many years these authors have been underpaid and overlooked in this industry, so I think right now my goal is to do whatever I can to help lift the authors up who ARE writing their own stories. I'm not opposed to it in the future if we hopefully come to a time where diverse and LGBTQ+ authors are given equal play in this industry. But we aren't quite there yet, unfortunately. My favorite LGBTQ+ book is Red, White and Royal Blue. <3

So far through out all your books, you characters go through a fair amount of development, and your climaxes are always on point (not rushed, and not dragged out). My question is: do you plan the story, where you want to take it, and the characters' development or is it a process of having an idea and letting the events flow as you write without certain plans?

What was the other name you wrote under with another author? I love your books I never read in my life. Now that my fiancé bought me a I pad he got me kindle and regreting you was the first book I read and I fell in love with it your books are all I read. Thank you for your wonderful books.
