Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cortny Joy 25+ years of observing all the humans and circumstances around me. ALL MY ROADS (the entire Caribou Springs Series, really) is a culmination of so many influences...family, friends, strangers, movies, tv shows, MUSIC. I am fascinated by the human propensity for emotions. In any story, I almost always start with the feelings I want to explore, and then work backward...what decisions would a person have to make, what experiences would they need to have, in order to FEEL x, y, z?
