Pierre asked this question about Unforgettable Mistake:
I'm usually not a grammar nazi but 2 quotes from the blurb: ...when Harmon come looking for job. ...from the man whose captured his attention. Talk about shooting oneself in the foot! So, the question is: Am I narrow-minded if I don't want to try the book?
Teal Absolutely not. The blurb is intended both to entice you and to represent the book. As such it should be the very best it can be, polished and clean. …moreAbsolutely not. The blurb is intended both to entice you and to represent the book. As such it should be the very best it can be, polished and clean. And since it's so short, that shouldn't be at all difficult to accomplish. When a blurb is sloppy with errors, it tells a reader to expect the same from the book -- or worse. Either the author doesn't know how to write, or they're perfectly content to take people's money for what they know is a defective product.

So, give it a pass! There are plenty of other books out there, and plenty of authors who respect their work and their readers enough to put only their best out into the world.(less)
