Most of my ideas come from stories I would personally want to read but can't find. The Langley & Porter series was born of my desire to read a Sherlock Holmes-esque adventure with the twist of a female narrator and main character. I wanted to show the way of life for a woman in the Victorian era while unravelling a mystery and a slow burn romance.
