So my next book to read will be another one of yours but they all look sooooo good so you tell me -!! Which of your books should I read next ? and I will go buy it right away ( now that this weekend some lockdown restrictions are easing and I can go to Indigo!!!!). Can’t wait to get your recommendation!

Hi again, Kat! Well, it's really great to hear your enthusiasm...thank you! It's hard for me to recommend one of my books (like who is my favourite child) but the one that's always garnered the most interest is The Linnet Bird, set in Liverpool and Calcutta in the 19th century. Unfortunately, it - and others - aren't on shelves after a few years, so ordering online seems to be the most successful way to get a copy. I also have a special affinity for The Lost Souls of Angelkov, as it's set in Russia and the genesis for the novel is an actual story from my Russian side of the family. My website could supply information in terms of which book might interest you the most - there's a bit about each one there. In any case, thanks again for being so supportive of my work! Enjoy this weekend of sudden freedom in Toronto...!

ok, I am off to Indigo to buy The Linnet Bird and The Lost Souls of Angelkova and In a Far Country is another I will pick up. I have already checked and them have them. Basically, I don't want The Saffron Gate to end! Soooo good. One last question if I may - when you visited Marakesh did you also abandon your western clothing and dress in the kaftan, haik and veil? Kind regards, Kat.

Hi Linda. Are you aware that the only place where you can buy your book The Devil on her Tongue ebook version is at amazon Canada? It is also on the amazon.com site but there you can only buy this book used so I wonder did something go wrong? It seems weird that a book that supposedly was published in 2014 is not available too buy? Have been looking forward to read it. Take care. Marlene
