Are there different orders of angels? Like archangels, nephilim, cherubs, etc? All of different power levels? Because if he’s been dealing with cherubs this whole time hes fucked. Also how will (past) Lord of shadow deal with (future) Lord of shadow? As no doubt there will be differences between the two in the case of them combining into one.

(view spoiler)[In this context, there are, indeed, many different orders of angels. They may not match any classifications we (poor mortals!) have tried to put them in, though. In the books, we can infer there are angels with different functions, however. Valan didn't immediately try to turn Eric into vapor for his chaos infestation. However, some unnamed angel(s) did show up during his shift-space transfers from and Earthline into the Void--no question, no arguments, just straight up chaos-destroying. It's possible there are angels dedicated solely to that purpose, so it's possible there are angels specifically dedicated to other purposes, as well. Bear in mind, also, that he's viewed the structure of more than one angel and they all share certain common features. If they all have the same mechanistic base style to their being, it's probably just a question of power, rather than the style of the containment spells. And, by the end of "Fugue," he's certainly gone out of his way to make sure he's ahead in the power category!
As for how the Lord of Shadow will cope with meeting himself--how do you think Eric would cope with meeting himself? Will they meet? Must they meet? Can the elder versions avoid the younger versions (or disguise themselves enough) and so avoid causing a paradox? What would the effects of such a paradox be?

Can we PLEASE get a story with Erik in the old west and a six shooter. I really want to seem him take up a role like a Texas Ranger or the Marshal of a small town. Yes, it would be something outside of his usual M.O. because it isn't exactly laying low, but couldn't we see Erik try and move outside of his comfort zone for a while?
