Susan Cippele I agree. That was one of the disappointing aspects of this book to me. The “plot” was so hyped up I expected something amazing. The actual story didn’t live up to the hype

Judith No it did not make sense, & what event could have possibly made readers "gasp" or cry out? What was the amazing twist at the end? As many have pointed out, stolen identity is fairly common, not at all the original plot of the century! Evan's first few pages were great, but Jake's "Crib" was a disappointment.
