How do you get inspired to write?

J.S. Graydon I have always had a love of reading. Thousands of books. My early favourites were by Enid Blyton - The Famous Five series. I started writing early. I was the editor of my high school newspaper and the editor of the 'underground' newspaper (the articles that the school wouldn't officially allow to be printed. I was writing then. I wrote a murder / mystery play. I have many just-started books. The White Horseman is my first published book and The Red Horseman is nearly complete. Keep up the questions! Thanks.

I'm terrible at keeping things in one place, as soon as a thought hits I grab what's readily available to write on. Including a crayon found in my car and an old piece of mail. I have carried notebooks but am HORRIBLY forgetful. Am I the only one who's done this?
