Do you think the author intended the big reveal / twist to be so obvious? I don’t think I’ve ever figured ‘it’ out so early in a book, so I have to assume that this was intentional. (Still a good read either way.j

Not only does the book make such a big deal about how shocking and unexpected Jake / Evan's plot is, I heard a few interviews with Korelitz where she seemed to agree with the interviewers' premise that her own plot is equally singular. So I felt somewhat let down.(less)
