Grace Burrowes:
I'm currently reading Elizabeth Windham and Julian's story, and Elizabeth mentions a recent scandal with Lord Allermain. I've read all the prior connected books up to this point and I have a niggling sense of deja vu where I feel like this incident appeared in a previous book where the scandal was averted by her Windham cousins. I've been scouring the internet and just can't find anything about it. Am I imagining it?

Irina, you aren't imagining anything. In my early drafts of the book, I'd started the story with the scenes of the bungled abduction, but it occurred to me: Allermain isn't going to appear at any other point in the story. He's a rotter. Why give him even a cameo in the opening? Down came the editorial machete of doom, and thus you are left wondering, "Did I miss something?" Nope. All that unfortunate incident got was a mention as backstory. Sorry that decision left you wondering!

When/where did the Duke of Quimbey get married? He was/ is definitely a bachelor in book 3 of the True Gentlemen (Will’s True Wish), but in book 4, “His Lordship’s True Lady” he is referred to as besotted, happily married, etc and in Chapter 3 his duchess is hosting a musicale. Where can I read his story?
